While the EQS model is still upcoming, we invite you to learn more about what to expect when it arrives at Mercedes-Benz of Grapevine.

What Will Performance be Like in the New EQS Model?

We know so far that there will be two main EQS models: the EQS 450 + and the EQS 580 4MATIC. The EQS 450 + features an electric motor on the rear axle, generating 329-horsepower and 406 pounds-feet of torque. The EQS 580 4MATIC will have a motor on both the front and rear axle, generating a combined 516-horsepower and 611 pounds-feet of torque.

It's estimated that the EQS 450 + will be able to achieve 0-60 mph in around 5.5 seconds, with the EQS 580 4MATIC achieving 0-60 mph in around 4.1 seconds. The EQS 450 + will come with rear-wheel drive, delivering a sporty and fun driving experience wherever you go around Southlake. The EQS 580 4MATIC, as the name suggests, will come with Mercedes-Benz 4MATIC® all-wheel drive, providing you with even more traction and control when facing tight corners and bad weather around Coppell.

All models will come with an adaptive air suspension system that can change ride heights based on the roads ahead or the style of driving you want to do, allowing you to cater your driving experience to whatever road or mood you find yourself in. All models also come with a rear-axle steering system that can change the rear wheel angle up to 4.5 degrees, or an optional system that can turn the wheels 10 degrees, making it easier to maneuver in tight spaces by cutting down the turning diameter.

Driving Range

What Will the Drive Range Be Like?

There isn't much concrete information surrounding the range, charging, or battery life yet. It's estimated through that it will be able to achieve more than 300 miles in range. Battery charging is also not confirmed, but using a household charger, you'll be able to fully charge in around 11 hours, or using a DC fast charger you can reach 10-80 percent battery in around 35 minutes, making it easy to charge at home or on the go around Colleyville.

What Can We Expect from the Interior of the Upcoming EQS Model?

Like all other Mercedes-Benz vehicle, you can expect a commitment to comfort and quality in every upcoming EQS model. It's speculated that all models will come with a touchscreen tablet to control the standard MBUX infotainment system.
