There're two powertrain configurations offered in the new Mercedes-Benz EQS lineup. The Mercedes-Benz EQS 450+ model uses a single electric motor that's mounted on the rear axle. If you choose a Mercedes-Benz EQS 450 4MATIC model, the system uses two electric motors, offering standard all-wheel drive, and producing 355-horsepower and 590 pounds-feet of torque. Choosing a Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4MATIC model will reward you with a system that produces 516-horsepower and 631 pounds-feet of torque.

Range and Charging Times

The new Mercedes-Benz EQS models have a 108-kWh battery pack that you can charge in around 11 hours with a standard household outlet. Using a DC fast charger, you can charge the battery from 0-80% in around 31 minutes. When the battery is fully charged, you can travel between 285-305 miles, depending on which vehicle you choose.
