C-Class: What's New for 2025?

The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan makes a subtle entrance into the new model year with updates including as the latest version of Mercedes's MBUX operating system, and a newly standard center airbag. Mercedes-Benz C-Class Trim Levels

The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class lineup features a C 300 and C 300 4MATIC trim level, with the main difference being that the C 300 models come with rear-wheel drive, while the C 300 4MATIC models come with all-wheel drive. All models also use a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 255-horsepower and 295 pounds-feet of torque. There're three trim levels offered throughout the lineup of both models.

Interior

All C-Class models have a spacious, elegant, and cutting-edge cabin for you to immerse yourself in. Technology

You can stay connected and in control of various features thanks to the standard infotainment system on an 11.9-inch touchscreen display. All models have Apple CarPlay® and Android™ Auto compatibility, allowing you to connect your smartphone wirelessly using Bluetooth® or with a USB cord and enjoy control of calls, apps, music, maps, messages, and many other vehicle features using the touchscreen or using a voice command system. There's also an available wireless charging pad to keep your devices conveniently charged while you're on the go.

Exterior

Every new Mercedes-Benz C-Class model has redesigned exterior styling, offering a sharper, and sportier appeal than previous years. All models have muscular body lines, chrome accents on the front grille and bumper, a diamond pattern on the grille, LED headlights, and a new 2-piece taillight design. 18-inch wheels come standard but 19-inch wheels are also available.

Safety

A bevy of standard driver assistance features are offered throughout the new C-Class lineup, including standard forward collision with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and more. You can opt for a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree parking system, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, and an automated parking system on higher trims or with the Driver Assistance package.

Performance & Capability

There are three engine options offered throughout the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class lineup. The first is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 255-horsepower and 295 pounds-feet of torque that comes on all C 300 sedans, coupes, and cabriolet models. This engine also gets augmented by an EQ Boost system, which uses a 48-volt electric motor between the powerplant and 9-speed automatic transmission, delivering 20-horsepower and 148 pounds-feet of torque for short periods. The electric motor also allows you to sustain freeway speeds without using the gasoline engine, a practice calling "sailing", allowing you to save fuel.

Choosing a Mercedes-Benz C 43 Coupe or C 43 Cabriolet model will get you a larger 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine that delivers 385-horsepower and 384 pounds-feet of torque. The C 63 S coupe and Cabriolet models use a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that exerts a whipping 503-horsepowre and 516 pounds-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive comes standard on most models, but 4MATIC® all-wheel drive is also available and provides you with greater traction, and stronger axles.

The AMG® C-Class

The new C-Class offers two AMG® performance models. Both models offer impressive upgrades and additions, including sportier exterior builds, a more sumptuously equipped interior, and enhanced performance.

The Mercedes-Benz AMG® C 43 model offers a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering 416 horsepower and 369 pounds-feet of torque, delivering an exhilarating and engaging drive. Also in the build is a sport-tuned suspension with adaptive suspension dampers, rear-axle steering and a sports exhaust system. Inside the cabin, enjoy sporty seats, a performance steering wheel, four-zone automatic climate control, and an available carbon fiber package.

The top of the lineup for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is the new AMG® C 63 S E. It's a plug-in hybrid sports car that uses electric motors and a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine to exert 671 horsepower and 752 pounds-feet of torque. All models also have exclusive styling upgrades, an AMG Performance 4MATIC+® all-wheel drive system with a fully variable torque distribution and drift mode. You can also choose between AMG Dynamic Select driving modes, featuring settings for Electric, Battery, Hold, and Race.
